A few points I make about why I am so passionate about getting things to change are as follows.
- Scheduled exams, in my experience, happen 50% of the time. This is incredibly frustrating as I sit around the server for an hour and nothing ends up happening.
- They aren't really chuunin exams. Both in the sense that there are much higher ranking people who just reset competing against new players, and that there's only one promotion per exam. If there's two equally matched people in the finals, it doesn't make much sense to only promote one when they're both clearly at the level they should be. It just really grinds my gears that almost every chuunin exam is won by somebody who recently reset, not somebody who's an actual genin.
- It is WAY easier to get Jounin than Chuunin, which also makes no sense. Given, since I've never actually participated in one, this is only based on my answering the questions myself and then checking w/ people. I'd have gotten Jounin like 3 times now if I was ever chuunin.
These exams are geared towards people who've already held a high rank before. It's not fair to actual genin to be put up against a former jounin. As this is the first major progression a new player gets to this server, it should be easier to obtain. Having it so new players actually go up against new players, and people who've already held high ranks going against others who've held high ranks, would make this server much more fun for everybody.
Jounin curb stomping genin isn't an exam, it's abuse.
